Exercising is so wonderful on so many levels, it’s great for keeping you slim as well as healthy. It’s not as if you have to exercise for hours every day as even as little as 15 minutes per day can have a positive effect.
Some of the reasons you might not like doing exercise could include:-
- Lacking in energy
- Lack of time
- Bored of exercise
- Not seeing instant results
The great thing is that it’s easy enough to deal with the above problems in order to get motivated to exercise. In addition to this, you’ll probably start enjoying your workouts rather than loathe them.
Tips to get motivated:-
Plan ahead – if you can set aside a particular time to exercise then it’s going to be easier. You don’t have to exercise for a long period of time. Begin with 15 minutes and then look at increase the time as you go on. Soon you’ll get into a routine which will be easy.
Mix things up – doing the same exercises day in day out can very quickly become boring. This is why it’s a good idea to explore as many different types of exercise and routines as you can. It will keep things more interesting and also give your entire body a great workout.
Set smaller goals – when you want to lose weight it’s very easy to try to do too much and set goals that are too big. Instead you should do a little bit of exercise in order to lose a small amount of weight. Once you’ve reached that goal you can create a slightly bigger goal. This is very much more achievable.
Make exercise enjoyable – exercise will be more enjoyable if you have nice equipment, clothing and up-beat music.
Be social – exercising with friends can also give you a lot of motivation. You can compare notes and sympathize with each other when you’re feeling tired. When one of you can’t be bothered to exercise, then you can help each other gain motivation.
Reward yourself – so often it’s easy to make yourself guilty about your weight. So when you start to reach your goals, reward yourself with a treat. It doesn’t have to be a burger or box of chocolate. It could be a CD, night out to the cinema or some nice new clothes. Maybe even a bottle of Phen375 pills.
If nothing else works, then at least try to focus on why you’re exercising in the first place. You want to be healthy as well as slimmer. All too often people are living a sedentary lifestyle which is causing all sorts of problems including depression and heart disease.
I read wat you have written and it is true. I am thinking that for some reason i procrastinate. Beside not getting motivated. once i start i feel good i love that i am losing the weight. Then i stopped, went camping(back in aug) and never worked out again. So wat the heck is wrong with me.
